At CCSA, we are frequently contacted by individuals/organisations seeking information or help.
If you are seeking information
Email us with your question and we will endeavour to answer it. You can also phone the office on 08-8223 5155.
If you simply want to advise us of activity harming the SA environment
Please fill in this on-line form. (available soon)
If you want to take action on an issue or activity harming the environment
You can do so in various ways.
If you are an individual, please refer to this list of all CCSA member groups and their contact details and this booklet summarising the activity of some of them in the last year. One of these organisations may be active on this issue (or willing to become so!) and you may like to join that group.
If you are already a member of a group that is concerned about this issue that is not a CCSA member group, your group may like to consider joining CCSA. As well as giving strength in numbers and allowing you to network with other environmentalists, being a member of CCSA gives your organisation a real say in the work we do, and allows you to contribute directly to our policy development.
You can learn more about the benefits of membership here.
Also, check out CCSA's Blueprint for a Sustainable Future, which outlines the policy changes we believe are necessary in our six key areas of Biodiversity, Coast & Maine, Water, Planning & Development, Energy and Waste.

If you want CCSA to take action on the issue or activity harming the environment
Remember we do receive many such requests, and our role is not to be active on every issue, but to represent our member groups and empower them to be active. However there are some issues that are best tackled by the peak environment organisation, and so we ask you to complete this on-line form (coming soon) to brief us on the issue and explain why you think it should be given priority.
We will make an assessment based on:
- our organisational priorities
- what other organisations might be active in this area and
- our own capacity at the time.
We may refer the information to one of our member groups to take further action.
