Embedding videos in content or modules

You can display a video from youtube or many other on-line sources by inserting a simple line of code into an article or module.

The format is always {name of videoprovider}ID of video {/name of videoprovider}

eg to insert a youtube video, with the youtube ID number ySfiptNHzvs

place the following within the article or module text:

youtube

 

Examples of usage from the main video providers are listed below.

It is also possible to link to a local video, ie one that you have uploaded to the ConservationSA webserver.

The syntax is {video format}path/filename{/videoformat}

eg for a flash video called watermeeting.flv in the images/stories subdirectory the code would be

{flv.}images/stories/watermeeting.flv{/flv}
