Jill Hudson Award for Environmental Protection
This annual award is in memory of Jillian Hudson (1948 -1997). Jill had a great passion for the environment and she made sure that these values were passed on to her students whom she told: "Life is an opportunity and its purpose is to stand for something and to make a difference."
The Award is to go to someone living in South Australia who, in the past 12 months, has made an outstanding contribution to protecting SA’s environment.
Conservation Council SA Unsung Hero Award
Conservation SA’s Unsung Hero Award recognises those who have a long-standing commitment to protecting the environment. This could be through environmental work and advocacy, community campaigns, a long-standing professional contribution, or through education and awareness programs.
The Award is to go to a South Australian (or group) who has made a sustained contribution to protecting SA’s environment.
Conservation Council SA Young Achiever Award
South Australia's young environmentalists contribute to the protection of our environment through many avenues, including involvement in community awareness campaigns, volunteering, political advocacy, research and science, and on-ground work.
Conservation SA’s Young Achiever Award recognises those who are committed to improving environmental outcomes.
The Award is to go to an individual (or group of young individuals), aged under 28 and living in South Australia who, in the past 12 months, has made a significant contribution to protecting SA’s environment.
