Key role of Member Group:
To encourage, represent and advocate for residents to build and maintain a healthy, safe, joyous and equitable community.
To protect our residential character and cultural heritage.
To promote the protection of our biological diversity and the maintenance of Indigenous species.
To work co operatively with Governments and other community organisations, groups and peak organisations to protect, enhance and conserve the environment.

- 1. Sustainability
- 2. Water Quality and wise use
- 3. Residential Growth and public infrastructure.

Key achievements for 2009-10:
- Completion of the second stage of the Break Out Creek wetland.
- Active role in the 'One Living Planet' strategy of Charles Sturt Council.
- Community Engagement workshops bringing 4 community organisations together in the western suburbs to develop a workable engagement 'model'
- Council commitment to the Western Suburbs Solar initiative.
- Working with two dune care groups to make application for Historic Conservation status for the Tennyson Dunes.
- Working with local Primary Schools to raise awareness to the marine environment and sustainability.[Grange Primary awarded State NRM and National Land Care recognition]
- Raising awareness on water as a founding member of the Water Action Coalition.
- Assisted in the conduct of two Forums raising awareness about Gulf St Vincent.
- Submissions to Government on Development and Marine Parks.
- Various delegations to Ministers of Government on Water Quality, Residential Growth and Development.
