- Lobbying against urban sprawl and the protection of agriculture as the prime activity of the Willunga Basin.
- Focus on planning implications related to climate change, including public transport, energy efficient building, transport oriented development.

- 1. Lobbying for legislative protection of Willunga Basin
- 2. Council planning watchdog, checking for inappropriate development of townships and coastal areas of Willunga Basin
- 3. Informing members via newsletters of the above
- 4. Maintaining an overview of environmental activities of Willunga Basin area
- 5. Encouraging the development of biodiversity corridors within the Basin and protection of remnant vegetation
