To defend and extend public transport in South Australia.
Key Achievements and Activities for 2008/09:
- Representative attended CCSA Energy Summit February 2009
- Appeared at hearings of Senate Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport Committee Inquiry into the investment of Commonwealth and State funds in public passenger transport infrastructure and services 23 July
- Made submission to Plan for Greater Adelaide
- Met with Speaker in Residence Fred Hansen on public Transport/pedestrian/bicycle issues in conjunction with other groups October 2009
- Organised briefings from Department of Transport (DTEI) on service and infrastructure changes for members and other interested people. (Timetable and route changes, Belair line and tram overpass.)
- Followed up enquiries from public on public transport issues.
- Took part in interviews with media
- Letters to Editor/media releases
- Corresponded with transport providers and DTEI/Minister and answered DTEI questionnaires
- Attended seminars on planning, TODs and public transport

- 2. Peak Oil
- 3. Water
