Identify three key environmental issues impacting on South Australia:

  • 1. Need to restore vegetation to compensate for the large areas cleared to provide pasture and grains to support animal husbandry.
  • 2. Need for careful management of water resources.
  • 3. Need to control population growth (and urbanisation) in relationship to the resources needed to sustain it without negatively impacting the environment.
