The Premier of SA Mike Rann who will be co-chairing the States and Regions Alliance at the Climate Leaders Forum in Copenhagen will be accompanied by a unique gift - a set of Sky Blue shoe laces emblazoned with the message 'Walk for the Climate'.
The laces were presented by a group of children and a pair of Polar Bears alongside a large Earth globe, (pictures available) symbolic of the fact that the Earth is in the hands of the decision makers at the Copenhagen Climate Conference (COP15) in Denmark. The delegation asked Premier Rann to endorse the Walk Against Warming, Australia's largest day of action on climate change and to remind him when he is in Copenhagen that "we're all in this together".
The Walk Against Warming commences at 11am at Victoria Square - Tarndanyangga this Saturday December 12th before proceeding to Rymill Park for speakers, stalls and musical entertainment. Noted Adelaide acts will include Prawnhead, the Amazing Drumming Monkeys, Loren Kate and hard rock band Evelyn.
