Bringing the river to life with your help
The Murray is part of our South Australian soul. Our great, meandering river weaves its way through our lives and memories just as it weaves its way through townships and across plains. At Conservation SA we want to remind the big decision makers just how precious the river system is to South Australians. We don't want the problems of the Murray, lower lakes and Coorong to remain academic. Instead, we want to bring the story of the Murray to life in a way that really reaches people's hearts, and we need your help to do it.
As part of our Murray campaign we are making a book of your hand written stories, called Our River. The idea is to present this book to the State Premier and to pollies further upstream to make sure they understand just how precious the river system is to us. And to make sure they are under no illusions as to just how much the degradation of the river is impacting South Australian lives.
