ABOUT 'AWAKENING THE DREAMER...'
The ‘Awakening the Dreamer, Change the Dream’ workshop is a half-day transformative journey that educates people to the challenges and possibilities of this moment in time and the unique role they can play in creating a new and sustainable future. The vision for the session is to assist individuals ‘concerned’ about the state of our world towards taking steps to become ‘active’ in making a difference, contributing towards ‘an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling and socially just presence on this planet.’

There have been over 230,000 symposium participants at 4000+ events delivered in 80 counties. In previous years this popular
Adelaide event has been funded by the Adelaide and Mt Lofty Ranges NRM Board, in cooperation with the Conservation Council SA.

INSPIRING AND UPLIFTING - BRING A FRIEND OR TWO!
The workshops is inspiring and uplifting for those currently active on environmental or sustainability campaigns, and in the social justice or arts community. Come along and be refreshed! Tell your family and friends who may need a nudge or greater understanding of our current sustainability challenges and opportunities. Bring them along! Meet like-minded people and learn what ‘you’ can do and what ‘we’ can do to contribute to an environmentally sustainable, spirituality fulfilling and socially just human presence on this planet. We want to expand a multi-faceted movement for change!

THE WORKSHOP PROCESS
The process for the workshop is a series of expert videos with personal reflection time and group exercises with the purpose to awaken us to what is and what is possible in our passionate endeavours to help build the new future. The content was developed by the Achuar Indigenous people of Ecuador within the Pachamama Alliance, in alliance with a coalition of global non-profit organisations. The facilitators are Jennifer Callanan, Barb Koth, Josie McLean, Jillian Offe and Vasundhara Saraswati.
