You are invited to an expert’s discussion on how best to increase urban tree canopy cover and stop the loss of mature trees across Adelaide and the Hills.
4-6pm, Monday 22 June 2020 via Zoom (log in details will be sent through closer to the event)
Following the release of our report What’s Happening to Adelaide’s Trees? we are keen to identify the most effective ways of slowing down and reversing the ongoing loss of tree canopy.
Is it planning law reform? Arborist practice? Council approval process? Changing the public narrative? Better valuation?
With special opening remarks by Sophie Thomson (Gardening Australia).
RSVP essential by 15 June 2020.
This special invitation-only forum is hosted by Conservation SA, the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, National Trust, Trees for Life, Treenet, Environmental Defenders Office and the Nature Conservation Society of SA.
