Snap Action for State Election - No oil and gas!

We need as many people as we can get for a SNAP ACTION at 8.15am, Friday 16th of February to show all of the election candidates that there are real people who care about our environment and that we expect better of them!

Our photo will feature a banner saying "oil and gas are so last century... no new fossil fuels for SA"

This 30 minute action will bolster the "SA: Our Future" collaborative document - the election asks that over 25 environmental organisations in SA put together that will safeguard our environment and climate future. We'll also be handing out some flyers directing people to the website the environmental scorecard when it's released.

***If you have some bright, garish retro articles of clothing (think dorky 70s & 80s gear) that can help us tell the story of oil and gas being old technology, please wear them!!***

Time: 8.15 - 8.45am
Date: Friday 16th February
Place: out the front of the Parliament House, North Terrace

Extra details: if you can, please wear retro clothes or if you can't, just your usual neat casual threads are fine (no political party t-shirts!)
Also any old technology you can carry would be great!
e.g. Walkmans, brickphones, old radios, etc.
