This nourishing day workshop includes gentle yoga, meditation, a mini soundbath, connecting with others & networking, a walking meditation on the beach and the chance to explore our connection to nature while sharing inspiration for how we can take care of our beautiful planet earth.
December becomes hectic for so many of us, so we would love you to join us for a special workshop focusing on self care and care of our planet earth. The aim is to connect back to nature in the stunning setting of Sellicks Beach, meet others, and be inspired in your next steps.
The first two hours will start at the Sellicks Community Hall, with time scheduled for relaxing with yoga, meditation & sound as well as some more interactive activities in small groups and personal reflection. We will also have a snack of fruit & tea and some time to chat. We will then have some time for lunch - options include bringing your own food or popping into one of the local cafes, but you may also like to come up to the Nan Hai Pu Tuo Temple at Sellicks Hill. On Sundays they offer a delicious Chinese style vegetarian buffet lunch for a donation. This temple is the location of the impressive statue of Kuan Yin, and has stunning views of the coastline. At around 1pm, we can gather again at Sellicks Beach, for a walking meditation, nurturing our connection to the earth and to each other. Walking meditation is a wonderful way to slow down, enhance your senses and feel connection and gratitude. If there's time and good weather we could do a little more beach yoga or take a swim.
Cost is just $22 including all booking fees, with all profits going towards The Wilderness Society of South Australia.
