Uluru Statement and Voice Referendum

Conservation Council supports a 'Yes' vote in the upcoming referendum on a First Nations Voice to Parliament. Conservation SA is equally committed to both Treaty and Truth-telling as part of accepting the invitation of the Uluru Statement from the Heart for a better future.

You can read our Statement of Support to discover exactly where Conservation SA stands. Take the time to explore the resources we have assembled to help us answer the call of history.

Resources

You can access the pamphlet for the Yes case on the AEC website

You can't go past the website of the Uluru Dialogue Uluru Statement for a comprehensive overview of the issues at play.

Yes 23 is the site to visit if you want to really get involved and volunteer.

The Australian Electoral Commission's official referendum page has the solid information you would expect and info on how you can work at the referendum.

It's always worth reading the relevant Bill on the Parliament House page.

You can access a useful factsheet explaining the history of First Nations representation from ANTAR called Voice: A History of Representation.

The multicultural hub for the Yes23 campaign is the Multicultural Australia for Voice site.

And for a more personal approach, check out It's Time for a Heart to Heart by former Conservation SA Board member Dwayne Coulthard on the Reconciliation SA website.
