Three sites short-listed for nuclear waste dump in SA

The Federal Government has announced three sites in SA have been short-listed for a nuclear waste dump. The sites are Cortlinye and Pinkawillinie near Kimba on the Eyre Peninsula, and Barndioota near Hawker, north of Port Augusta. Anyone with a right or interest in the nominated land (any of the proposed waste dump sites), including people from local communities near the sites, are invited to comment on the proposal. Comments close 11 March 2016.
