But at Conservation SA, we have a unique and essential role.
We can act as sentinel on behalf of our member groups and all South Australians.
When threats emerge, we can step in and help protect.
We can influence our government to protect our environment and promote clean, sustainable energy for our state.

With the next state election just eight months away, we are working with local conservation groups in touch with their communities to build a movement of thousands of people that take action together.
Together we knock on doors, mobilise everyday South Australians and lobby decision-makers every day with powerful evidence to protect our environment and stop dirty energy from wrecking our land, water and climate.
But we need your help.
We don’t have the resources of a mining company, or even the bigger national environment groups.
We just focus on protecting all the environments that make South Australia such a special place, so we have to be powered by the South Australian community.
