Conservation SA is leading the co-creation of SA's new climate movement strategy - a community led strategy that builds and sustains a diverse, connected, and resilient climate movement
Are you seeing the same people involved in every climate campaign and burning out?
Are you interested in having more opportunities for new leadership and collaboration?
Do you want to work more collaboratively across the climate movement towards shared goals and priorities?
If you answered yes, then this is an initiative for you!
Our Guiding Principles
- Shared ownership and power
- Transparency
- Capacity and capability building
- Accessibility & equitability
- Values diversity in roles, experiences, identities, capabilities
- Adaptability & responsiveness to change

How to get involved
Attend a Community Workshop
Co creation workshops provide an important and valuable opportunity for community members to come together, build relationships and understanding, while finding shared answers to the big questions.
The co creation workshops come in two phases:
Phase 1 Workshops: Define the now and envision the future (approx. July-October)
- Stocktake and understand our movement right now - what skills, organisations/groups, relationships, and campaigns exist?
- Envision what a more connected, diverse, resilient movement would look like - what does it actually mean for a movement to be connected, diverse and resilient? What would that achieve?
Phase 2 Workshops: Define how we make that better future a reality (Approx. October-November)
You can check out and register for upcoming cocreation workshops on our What's On page.
