The Community Climate Conversations Report sets out what should be done to address climate change and who needs to take what actions.
More than 750 South Australians from all walks of life took part in 114 community conversations in 2023 to discuss what needs to be done to achieve the government’s target of net zero emissions by 2050. The Report, based on their input, provides the foundation for stronger action on climate change by governments, communities, industry and business.

About South Australians for Climate Action
South Australians for Climate Action was established in 2021 by a small, non-partisan group of friends and colleagues who wanted to see SA respond more urgently and effectively to the challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss.
The Statement was formally presented to the Hon Susan Close, Deputy Premier and Minister for Climate, Environment and Water on 30 November 2022.
While South Australians for Climate Action wound up as a community project in 2024, its founders continue to support Conservation SA's ongoing efforts to act on climate change and biodiversity protection.
