Each of the Australian Walking Company's Sanderson Bay and Sandy Creek developments comprise:
• 10 substantial buildings, including a communal longhouse – 18m long x 9m wide x 4m high, and
• water tanks, lookouts and connecting paths.

Located up to 3km from the Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail, they:
• will require additional kilometres of service road to be bulldozed through native vegetation, and
• are conspicuously placed on coastal sites overlooking wild, remote beaches.

Supreme Court Hearing on 4 October
Kangaroo Island Eco-Action, supported by its associates in the Public Parks NOT Private Playgrounds coalition, has engaged lawyers and a QC. They will be in court opposing the State Government's decision to approve these developments.
