The Tour Down Under is a world-famous cycling race in Adelaide, sponsored by the gas giant Santos. The race is managed by the SA government. Santos uses sponsorships like this to build their political influence so they can push dirty gas.

We’re calling on the SA government to dump Santos from the Tour Down Under!

Mitcham and Onkaparinga councils have both passed motions banning fossil fuel sponsorship! This limits the display of the Santos logo on council property, and builds momentum for the state government to also ban fossil fuel sponsorship and dump Santos.

That means 250,000 people in SA live in a council that has banned fossil fuel sponsorship. We have momentum, but we need more councils to pass this motion.
