Fundraising Manager

The Role

This is your chance to make an impact contributing to conservation and climate change action. This role provides a rare opportunity to help the South Australian peak environmental organisation/body grow from it's financially stable position to one where it significantly increases its ability and freedom to make a real impact. You will have the freedom to develop and execute innovative fundraising campaigns and play an important role in helping to nurture and grow the Conservation Council of SA’s supporter base.

You will manage all aspects of the supporter fundraising program, including strategy development and day to day management of the acquisition, cultivation and retention of donors.

The role will provide plenty of opportunities to be creative and test new approaches to fundraising.

This role is based in Adelaide at The Joinery - a vibrant community hub in the heart of the city.  An interstate relocation allowance will be negotiated with the successful candidate if required.

Specifically, you will

  • Lead and manage acquisition, cultivation and retention activity
  • Implement bequest and donor campaigns
  • Manage a Regular Giving platform
  • Develop creative content and compelling cases for support
  • Leverage digital and social media to support fundraising activities
  • Measure results and report on plans and programs

This is an autonomous role suited to an experienced Fundraiser, someone looking for the opportunity to make their mark.  Initially offered as an 18-month contract with the option of extension.
