Kate and Diego’s Wild Food Foray

If your interested in foraging and you want to learn from the experts about the edible,medicinal and useful plants that grow in abundance all around us then this event is an absolute must.

Diego Bonetto (The Weedy One) and the guru of foraging in Australia is in South Australia will be hosted by OSCA for their Foragers, Weed Gardens and Gatherings Festival https://open-space.org.au/project/foragers-weed-gardens-and-gatherings-fwg/ .While he is here is also going to be teaming up with Adelaide's very own Kate Grigg (The Wild Food Huntress) to bring you an event that will not only be educational but also entertaining.

Join Kate and Diego as they take you on a Wild Food Foray through Wirrarninthi/Park 23s Kaurna food and medicine trail. You will not only learn about indigenous food and medicine along the way but also the edibility and medicinal values of introduced weed species that can also be found in the area.

At the end of the Foray you will be treated to a wild pre foraged light lunch (Vegan Friendly)that will not only inspire you but give you the confidence to go on your own wild food foray!

Please Remember that this is an outside event so please dress appropriately.
