From 25 September to 4 October we're joining an incredible line-up of nature lovers for the second annual Nature Festival!
From sustainability to conservation, we're running and supporting a range of inspiring events for this exciting South Australian festival celebrating our incredible environment.
One of our highlights is Majestic River Red Gum Dreaming on 26 September, where we learn about the significance of one of Adelaide's most beautiful River Red Gums. You'll hear from Traditional Owners and arborists about the significance of River Red Gums for the Kaurna people and more about the biology of these amazing trees.
We're also proud to host a series of guided tours around our home The Joinery, the front door for the environment in SA. What was once the old bus station on Franklin Street has now been transformed into a vibrant community centre and environmental hub! Our guided tours will walk you through the centre and surrounding areas, introducing you to the Adelaide Sustainability Centre, Common Ground Community Garden, solar demonstration site, upcycled furniture, rain garden and other sustainability displays, murals and more.
