Population and Sustainability - Prof. Ian Lowe

"Population and Sustainability" - a broad-brush coverage of the twenty years since the first national report on the state of the environment and events since, leading up to the World Scientists second warning in November, all emphasising that there is no prospect of a sustainable future unless we stabilise the population, with the most likely result of the present approach being the collapse projected nearly fifty years ago in The Limits to Growth.

Based at Griffith Uni in Brisbane, Prof. Lowe is a well known author, academic, adviser and speaker. With decades of experience in environmental science, his many positions have included Chairman of the Australian Conservation Foundation.
